Christopher receives an arrest request for Suraia, Vasha, and Thorn after Aelric Harren Vale reframes the alley confrontation as an assault. Instead of blindly enforcing it, Christopher admits he does not believe Aelric and asks for their side of the story. Recognising that the watchtower has more urgent concerns than noble tantrums, he offers a lawful workaround: a paid, public contract to investigate the real trouble in the forest—making the Outcasts “official” enough that questions become harder to weaponise.
