Geography of Eonil

Geography of Eonil

The world of Eonil is a realm of countless islands and several great continents. Most of the islands lie across the northern half of the planet, each one shaped and claimed by its own people over the centuries. Collectively, these are simply known as the islands, and they form a vibrant tapestry of cultures, histories, and traditions.

Estonya and Maycia

South of the islands, just below the equator, stretches a large continent that is home to the lands of Estonya and Maycia. The territories beyond are widely regarded as wild and untamable, places where few dare to venture. Even Estonya itself is often viewed as the outer edge of civilization, owing to its storied and sometimes turbulent history. Little is known of Maycia, which remains shrouded in mystery and legend.

The Dwarven Lands

To the west of Estonya, ancient tales speak of the lost dwarven lands—domains not often explored. Further west and above the islands, there is a large continent which is considered the domain of the mythical races of Eonil herself.

The Northern Wastes

North of the islands, the climate quickly grows too cold to support life, creating a natural boundary at the edge of the known world.

Climate

Eonil’s equator is marked by a lush, tropical climate, while the far northern reaches are frozen wastelands, rarely explored and considered inhospitable. The lands south of Estonya are equally mysterious, regarded as wild and untamed, with no reliable records of what lies at the southernmost edge of the world.

We on the islands life in a golden age now, known as the age of light. There is peace with Estoyna and thanks to the Waygates trade and diplomatic relationships are easier then ever. The peoples of the islands are cautious and value harmony among themselves.
