Inhabitants

Inhabitants

Eonil is home to many different types of Inhabitants. They have wildlife, critters, livestock and fish just like we have on Earth. Many of these creatures are probably naturally evolved with possibly a little help from Eonil herself but they aren’t magical by nature. Since these creatures have basically all similarities with the creatures here on earth I’m not going to describe them.

According to legend, Eonil herself used to be a goddess. It is therefore said that it is her energy that allows to use of magic and also possibly gave the other gods and later the people the means to banish the old gods from the planet. All creatures that are creations of the gods are therefore all magical.

When it comes to humanoid appearances of creatures there are many similarities with humans. The main difference is that there is a much wider variety of skin colours and hair colours appearing naturally on Eonil. Apart from the skin colours one can find on Earth, people on Eonil can also have skin colour in nearly any colour there is. It is widely believed that Denday herself had blue skin and dark blue hair, while Quintra had fair skin and nearly golden coloured hair. Because of this, skin tones as well as hair have many different colours.

Creatures created by Quintra or Denday tend to have the same round irises as we humans have, but creatures of Ghor and Eonil can have other type of eyes more resembling animal eyes. Certain powers someone can get or are born with are also known to change the colour and shape of someone’s iris or eye. Just like skin and hair colours, the colour of a person’s eye can also be all colours.

When it comes to gender it has also always been a scale rather than fully male or female. As far as physical appearance go a person is born with male or female genitalia, upon becoming an adult the body can change into a more masculine or feminine form but this also is a scale.

There most certainly are women born with male genitalia, medicine and magic can help them change their body partly or fully and thus trans men or women exist on Eonil same as normal men and women and all other forms that people on Earth identity with. This has always been there and is generally accepted in most cultures. There are always exceptions with certain societies, where it’s either highly sought after or highly discriminated against.

Creatures of Eonil

Creatures born of Eonil, such as wildlife are often magical too. All neutral or good wildlife creatures are said to be created by Eonil. So these can be common critters, or other animals that live on Eonil.

Other creatures that were created by Eonil are the so called mythical beings. They are often seen as the protectors of something like certain forests, lakes, clearings or mountains. Since it’s a rare sight to even see any of these creatures nowadays, they are often thought to be solitary and extremely rare. Many people would also argue the actual existence of them at all. Yet there are several places scattered around Eonil where up until this day no one dares venture because it is said to be the territory of Eonil. Those who have gone there mostly never came back at all and if they did they mostly seemed to have gone mad and were talking nonsense.

The remaining population of the mythical being of Eonil will most likely live in these so called territories of Eonil. There are exceptions if they are guarding something but most of them have in time fled to these ‘sanctuaries’ to no be hunted down and killed by the New Faith followers.

Creatures of Ghor

Since Ghor is the god that turned Eonil into a planet they have taken pleasure in turning Eonil’s creations into twisted versions of themselves. They all have evil or chaotic tendencies. Ghor also created some creatures of their own. Ghor is the god of chaos and so they have the ability to ‘corrupt’ anyone. Creatures of Quintra and Denday can be corrupted by Ghor too, even the gods themselves weren’t immune to their influence.

Creatures of Quintra and Denday

Since the twin goddesses had banished Ghor they decided to stay on Eonil and create beings of their own to life alongside the creatures of Eonil. Most of the humanoid creatures are said to be created by Quintra and Denday.
