On the internet I am known mostly as Suraia Silverbell, welcome to the Eonil Website. I’m a grown up woman living in The Netherlands with my husband, two kids and two old dogs. I have a part time job, volunteer at the school library and do the majority of household tasks since hubby works full time. In the little time I have left I work on my hobbies which include anything to do with fantasy and VR. I also LARP a couple of times a year.
Autistic
I am autistic, I wasn’t diagnosed as a kid and the only reason I got a diagnoses at all is because I knew something was not adding up and I went to the doctor to ask to be tested about my brother had bravely done the same a year or so before that and they discovered he had Asperger’s.
Asperger’s Syndrome isn’t a term used anymore today and Autism is just a naturally occurring variation in humans on this planet. This does mean that from time to time I have challenges that no matter how much I just wish I could just do… I simply can’t. You cannot ask a fish to just climb a tree just because you can.
Nimue
Blender, Unreal and VR
I am a hobbyist 3D artist learning Blender and Unreal Engine 5. I have a love for anything to do with fantasy and VR. There is nothing that can bring you closer to a fully immersive fantasy experience then VR can. I have always wanted to bring my own creations, my own fantasies to live and learning Blender and Unreal Engine for a ‘VR gaming experience’ is the best and closest thing I have to make my dream come true.
This is also why most of my free time goes into developing my skills as a 3D artist and learning Unreal Engine 5. For this I do free and sometimes paid courses and tutorials. Because it will be way to much work for just one person to model everything myself I also use and sometimes buy assets for Unreal.
What is Eonil
Eonil is the accumulation of all my medieval fantasy related stories, characters, guilds and adventures I’ve come up with over the years. This can be from just my own thoughts, Roleplay things like Dungeons & Dragons, LARP or RP forums but also different MMORPG’s where I have been on roleplay servers with different character and guilds trying to run plot or just playing.
It is my dream to write this all out as a fantasy setting that I can then use in VR as the lore of the world of whatever it is that I will be creating.
This website functions as a place for everyone interested to read about the things I have worked out for Eonil whether it be lore, setting information, characters or stories.
AI Assistance
Maybe you can already tell that I am very busy person but I had a vision of trying to bring my world Eonil to life. Circumstances make it so I don’t actually have the time to learn how to draw art, and 3D model, and write and create website and have time to even breath. Nor do I have the money to just hire people to do those things I do not have time for. This is why I am focusing on learning Unreal Engine and Blender and I am using AI as an assistant for the rest.
I do not think AI can replace real artists and writers, but I am only one person and this is my passion project so I will be using the tools that I can to help me bring this to life.
