Old Gods
Origin
Legend tells us that Eonil was created by Ghor, god of Chaos. He is part of the Old Gods along with the Twin Goddesses Quintra and Denday.
It is common knowledge that these gods once walked the face of Eonil. You cannot kill a god, but they have long since been banished from the surface of Eonil.
Ghor was first banished by Quintra and Denday in the first era to the Red moon baring it’s name. In the second era Denday was banished to the Blue Moon and in the third era Quintra was banished to the sun.
Present Day
With the rise of the New Faiths the Old Gods are declared dead and gone. Worship of them is considered an act of heresy on the Xaverion Islands.
Despite what the Church of the New Faiths is saying many common people still believe that the Old Gods aren’t dead. They still belief that even from the sun and moons they still bless their followers with gifts. To this day there still are followers of Ghor, Quintra and Denday, most commonly believed to be cults that need to be hunted down by the inquisitors.
