The Sigris family is one of the most feared vampire houses and is widely regarded as neutral-evil, leaning strongly toward cruelty.
Sigris herself fell to the corruption of Ghor and was slain by her own daughter, Eylownia, who retained the family name and legacy. Though the family is not Ghor-corrupted, they show little regard for mortal life and consider nearly all non-vampires — and many vampires — to be lesser beings.
The family is divided loosely into:
•Power-hungry elites who view Eonil as their playground
•Servants and slaves
Some servants remain mortal, kept as entertainment or food. Others are turned and used for tasks requiring vampiric abilities.
The Sigris family is infamous for hosting extravagant gatherings where cruelty is common and mortal deaths are frequent. As long as these acts remain within the technical limits of vampire law — and all evidence is erased — the Court traditionally looks the other way.
Their unspoken creed is simple:
Anything is permitted, so long as the Court cannot prove it.
