Frequently Asked Questions
What is Eonil?
Eonil is a medieval fantasy setting. This website contains stories, lore and art from the Eonil universe.
Why is Eonil a Dark Fantasy Setting?
Eonil is considered dark fantasy because it explores morally complex themes such as power, faith, trauma, and survival, where actions have lasting consequences. While moments of warmth, kindness, and hope exist, they are never free of cost. Violence and harm are treated with restraint and purpose rather than spectacle, and the most dangerous “monsters” in Eonil are often people or systems rather than creatures.
Why is Eonil 16+?
Content & age guidance: Eonil is written as a 16+ setting and can include dark fantasy themes (non-graphic violence, loss, trauma, and difficult choices). Explicit sexual content is kept in the After Dark (18+) section behind age verification.
